RecipeClip uses cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage) to operate the Service, remember your preferences, and understand how you use the product. We do not use cookies for advertising or to track you across other websites.

We measure how RecipeClip is used so we can improve it — which pages get visited, and roughly where visitors arrive from. As of September 2026 we do this without cookies and without any persistent identifier, so these measurements cannot be tied back to you, linked across sites, or used to build a profile. Nothing is shared with an advertising network.
We previously used Google Analytics, which did set cookies. We removed it. If you visited before September 2026 your browser may still hold _gacookies from that period; they are no longer read or written by this site and you can clear them at any time in your browser settings.

Preference data stored in localStorage (such as your dark mode setting) can be cleared via your browser’s developer tools: Application → Local Storage → recipeclip.app, then delete any keys you wish to remove.
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. RecipeClip does not currently alter its behavior in response to DNT signals, as there is no industry-standard interpretation of how to respond to them. We are committed to providing transparent cookie controls regardless.
