Easy Frozen Lemonade

Ingredients

• 3 ounces fresh lemon juice
• 1½-2 ounces citrus vodka
• ½ cup simple syrup
• ½ teaspoon lemon zest
• 2 cups ice
• 1 lemon wheel to garnish
• 1 cup water
• 1 cup granulated sugar

Steps

   Combine the lemon juice, simple syrup, vodka and lemon zest in a blender with the ice. Blend until smooth.

   Pour into a cocktail glass and garnish with the lemon wheel.

   In a medium/large pot add the water and sugar, bring to a boil, and continue on a low boil stirring for 2-5 minutes until thickened. Remove the pot from the heat and let cool completely.
