Mix the BBQ rub seasonings with 2 tablespoons each of olive oil and apple cider vinegar, and 1 tablespoon of liquid smoke.
Rub those savory seasonings all over your brisket, making sure to cover the whole cut of meat.
Broil the brisket for just a few minutes to get that signature smoky crust on the outside.
Prepare your slow cooker with some nonstick cooking spray.
Place the brisket in a foil lined baked dish.
Set the slow cooker on low and let cook for 10-14 hours.
Transfer it to an aluminum foil-lined sheet pan and place it under the broiler for 3-5 minutes, or until that dark crust forms across the top of the brisket.
Once the brisket is nice and crusted with that savory, smoky bark, wrap it in the foil and LET. IT. REST.
Let the brisket rest for 1 hour!
Serve and enjoy!
